Wedding held at the Bishops Palace in May

Bishops Palace
No corkage charge. Wine bottles opened and put on the table as requested with ice bucket wine coolers. The wine was kept cold in bottle dumps behind the bar.

Table set on Friday afternoon
4:20pm: Fizz and Canapés on arrival (off a table at the entrance and circulated on trays). All served on Welsh slates.
Nutty stuffed mushrooms stuffed with cashew nuts, garlic, shiitake and spices (Vegan)
Parmesan and paprika tartlets filled with red onion marmalade and Perl wen soft cheese
Chicken, bacon, Teifi cheese and thyme topped with cherry tomato
6:50pm: Starter – platter in the middle of each table. Pour fizz for toast as starters are being eaten.
Bowls of Newport crab and creme fresh.
Cnwd smoke Salmon fine slice with lemon wedges and black pepper.
Bowls of chili cheese pate made with welsh cheeses, roasted pepper, fresh herbs and spices.
Selection of fresh bread and butter.
7:30pm: Main on Two Platters
Lamb slow roasted with rosemary, black pepper and honey, then basted and finished in a hot oven. Sliced and served on roasted vegetables with jugs of real gravy (meat from T G Davies & Sons, Newport Pembs).
Groan spiced pork belly and crackling with cherry tomato gravy. Served on wilted chard spinach and fennel.

Veggie/Vegan Option:
Broad bean falafel topped with roasted aubergine and peppers with a basil sherry dressing (with all the veg)
Pembrokeshire new potatoes butter and mint (served in bowls on the table) + Vegan potatoes with olive oil and mint.
8pm: Groom Speech
8:15pm: Pudding
Lemon posset with almond short bread
Almond, apricot and honey tart with coconut and mango salsa (Vegan).
Coffee & Liquors keep bottles – served to the table
8:30pm: Best man speech
8:45: Cut cake
